This summer, I was invited to a breakfast at the Butterfly Pavilion where we learned about this “zoo of small wonders and big experiences.”
Though there are numerous exhibits where you can see creepy crawlies and even hold Rosie the tarantula, my favorite part of our visit was the Tropical Rainforest where you can see over 1600 butterflies flitting around. We could have spent hours watching the butterflies fly around. We saw butterflies that were bright blue and bright orange. We saw butterflies that were hard to find. Both of my kids carried around the cameras snapping pictures and trying to catch the butterflies on film.
